ForEx at Reserve bank rate?
I would like to change some AUD to USD where would i be able to change it closest to the RBA rate. I would like to Exchange AUD notes for USD notes, would be changing around 3000 – 3500 AUD. I live in melbourne and all the rates are much lower than the RBA rates
I find the best rates are at the ATM machines in the country you are going to. Just deposit the money in your local bank and ask if the ATM card you get can be used overseas. You may have to use a bigger bank that handles world travelers.
Now if your government is playing games and encouraging trade by putting a support on the currency, I can not help you.
